Boxing Day 2011

What an enjoyable Christmas Weekend it has been.
Christmas Day we celebrated lunch with the Huizenga's and dinner with the Reitsema's/Jongelings.
Boxing Day we hit the beach in the afternoon and enjoyed some jetskiing for a few hours before the wind picked up and then we packed up and headed home for the annual hidding family dinner.
A lovely night of roast, prawns, salads and dessert. And of course the new tradition a photo of opa and oma with their grandkids.

The girls had the funniest arguement. Sophie was having fun opening and closing the door. But alicia was telling her off because you have to keep the door closed!! It kept us laughing for awhile. These 2 rugrats are hilarious together.

Pleiter Christmas Dinner

On Tuesday 20th December, we hosted a Pleiter Christmas at our house, decided only 2 days earlier! everyone (well nearly..ahem joel!)made it and it was a great night.

It was a night spent with family celebrating another year the God has blessed us with. We had so scrumptious pizza for mains. Yummy prawn pizza, morocaan lamb and roast pumpkin, meatlovers, creamy chicken it all was so good and of course we forgot to take photos! We also enjoyed some fresh salads brought by all. We then played a big noisy family game, with all ending up with some good prizes. The night finished off with delicious desserts and winypoos :D

Thankyou to the family for making it a truly special night.

Below are just some photos of the decorations and some christmas diy projects :D

Family Christmas Dinner '11

We had another enjoyable Family Christmas Dinner, 'report night,' last night! With Wok in the box (thai food, yummy!) for dinner, and home made blackforrest trifle (so gooood!) we were adequetly stuffed! There was also presents galore, and a fun evil santa game, party crakers, cappocinos and after dinner mints. What a fun night. It was good also to reflect on the year past, at what the Lord has immensly blessed us with. Last year 'report night' sophie wasnt here, (but she did arrive the very next day !) We look forward to what the next year brings us, surrounded by our family and friends.
