Can't wait..

only 3 more sleeps till these jet setters leave on our 3 1/2 week trip to Tasmania.

Cant wait to see where Chris grew up, and actually knowing what his family is talking about when they mention memorable places :) Cant wait to relax and take in God's creation. Cant wait to have chris with me 24/7, and not having him go to work :) Cant wait to see how Sophie likes the plane.
Really, just can't wait. :)

congratulations..

to some dear friends...

firstly to Mr & Mrs Bart and Llewellyn Vermeulen.
Who celebrated their wedding on Friday 17th Feb. The Ceremony took place in the FRC Southern River, with Rev. Rupke officating.
The stunning bride shed a few tears as she walked down the aisle, while the handsome groom managed to (just) hold his in!
The night reception was at Golden Ponds, Mundijong. It was a great night, with delicious food and lovely company.
sorry but this is the only photo i had of the night!

Secondly, to Ben & Alyssa Dobbe on the arrival of their bundle of joy. A girl, Nicole Sharie Dobbe. born @ 6.02am, 21st Feb, weighing 3990g & about 50cm long. A week early (as i requested, so that i could see her before we left for Tassie :) ) Looking forward to meeting her in person.

isnt she just the cutest!

May God be with both these families as they begin the next chapter in their lives. Whether it be as newlyweds or first time parents. God has greatly blessed us all.

Picnic at South Perth

Last night, after church, we headed to South Perth for a family picnic dinner.

Beautiful weather and delicious ceaser salad meant a fun evening for all. Sophie especially loved it because there were lots of seagulls interested in our dinner and meant she could chase them.

Sophie chasing the birds. She didnt sit still all night!
