Sophie Facts #2.2 years

Weight:  13 kg
Height:
Favorite Food:
- I've just been introduced to muesli bars and i LOVE them. BUT they have to stay in the wrappers otherwise i don't want to eat them!
- My other favorite foods is fruit: especially strawberries + kiwi!
New words:
- 'show me' and then i take your hand and show you what i want!
- I like to and hold onto anyone's hand at anytime and start singing 'wing a wing a wosie, tissue tissue all down, swen wena mum up'(ring a rosie)
Favorite playtime:
- pesting my brother!
- playing with water at my sand/water table and getting myself + Zali drenched!
- i also love playing with my little people toys.
- Mum + Dad just taught me how to play hide + seek. I love the facing wall and counting part. Sometime i forget that we are actually playing and just keep counting!
I like/don't like:
- I try to get out of my day sleeps. So mum had to borrow omas portacot and i now have my 2 hr sleeps (quite happily) in there.
- I don't really like wearing my nappies anymore (hurry up mum and toilet train me already) If i have a skirt or loose pants on, off comes the nappy. I tell my mum. " no mum bum bum for zai-zai, no sosie!" (translation: no mum nappies for Isaiah not Sophie!)
- I like to open the fridge and suck on the 'martow' (tomato) bottle when mums not looking
- I like to get my stool and stand next to mum (or dad)  while she does the dishes so i can play with the bubbles!

Isaiah Facts#16 weeks

I am now 4 months old!
We popped into the health nurse this morning, so I could be weighed. I am 6.35 kg.
Mummy (+ a.keira) measured me. And i am 62 cm long!
I'm very proud of myself because i have learnt to roll over from back to tummy. my big sister thinks that its hilarious, and she sometimes tries to help me roll over and i get a little crabby at her!I have been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Mummy gets a little annoyed because when i am supposed to be laying nicely in my bed ready for a sleep i often roll over and then end up spewing up my full belly. I think its fun though!
I am growing up so fast.
I can now grab my toys and bring them to my my mouth.
I LOVE my toes. (they are often found in my mouth)
I reward everybody with lots of giggles.
I love being 'frightened' during a game of peekaboo.
I still sleep through the night.
I am still in size 000 clothes, but might be going to 00 soon, as i am a bit long for some onesies!

Isaiah facts #12 weeks

Last Friday i turned 3months old! apparently its somewhat of an achievement.
We even went to the health nurse, so i could get weighed.
I now weigh 5.77 kg. Mummy calls me her chunky monkey.
I like to reward her with lots of smiles. Actually I like to reward everyone with smiles if they talk to me.
I have also learnt to giggle, in the last week n half.
Saturday i lost it giggling at mummy, folding the bedsheets. I made mummy laugh too.
i sleep around 12 hours a night, normally 6.30pm-6 am.
and im starting to get better at sleeping during the day, and having a little routine.
i normally self settle, but every now and again (especially when big sis is being really loud!) i dont like to sleep, and after trying everything mummy found out that i like the noise of the vacuum cleaner and will promptly fall asleep once its on! :)

update overload...

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and great New Year.
Since its been forever since I've updated the blog, so get ready for an update overload.

Whats been happening, LOTS! It has been crazy busy in our 'neck of the woods.' Last month of 2012 was busy with Work Christmas party's, 30th wedding anniversary of Chris' parents with dinner at the Atrium to celebrate, a cousins wedding (at the Duxton!), then Christmas celebrated with our loved ones, packing and getting organized for our holiday down south! Augusta for a week of tenting with the Huizenga's, welcomed in New Years in glow stick style, then headed up to Busselton to spend a relaxing holiday with the Hidding's.
Now we are home again, a little bit browner a little bit more relaxed, (not really enjoying the heat though! ) but happy to be back home, in our comfy beds once again.

Here are a bunch of photo updates from the last month/s:

Congratulations again to my stunning little sister on her Year 12 Graduation.
She asked me along to photograph her + friends, after the actual photos, but due to the crazy winds + rain i just tagged along and snapped while the other photos were going on.

Happy 2nd Birthday

Our 'little' girl celebrated her second bday on Wednesday 28th November.
We had a small gathering of family + friends.
All had a 'hootastic' time.

Hootabelle cake and owl themed foods.
                                                      Party guests enjoying the food

                                                                  Blowing out the candles
A tired birthday girl cuddling elmo
Very spoilt. Thankyou to everyone who came and to those who sent their well wishes to our princess.
