whats been happening!

So its been awhile since ive posted. sorry for the overload of 'catchup' posts.
Been renovating our office. Ripped out the carpet, painted the walls 'Scandinavian grey' put in floorboards. In the process of putting in skirting boards. Then just need to organize desk/craft space and it will be all done. YAY. cant wait for that - at the moment our office stuff is in boxes all over the house- the computers setup in my dining room. And every day it annoys me just a little bit more - but hey i get my 'new' office at the end of it . so ill try be patient.

A lovely Easter long weekend - remembering Christ's death + resurrection.
also a time of bdays for us, and enjoying the weekend catching up with others. And who can forgot the yummy Easter eggs + hot cross buns!
Spent Friday at Lottery West Playground with the Hidding Clan. Had a lovely picnic lunch watching the girls play. Couldn't ask for better weather either. Was such a lovely day ( and location - looking forward to go back; brilliant gated playground for the kids and has a cafe too!)
Saturday Chris + dad worked on dad's brick wall at the front garden.
Sunday we were enriched with hearing a sermon about Jesus resurrection.
Monday Chris spent the morning cutting up the skirting boards for our office. Then we were on our way for morning coffee to help Opa Pleiter celebrate his bday. the afternoon chris worked around the house and spending quality family time with the kids.
Tuesday was my dads bday!! So more coffee + cake to celebrate his special day.

some Easter Friday park photos...i had my camera with me all weekend but this is the only time i remembered to take it out!

I LOVE this photo. most definitely sums up Sophie's stubborn personality. She was not impressed that i wanted a photo of her wearing bunny ears!

Uncle Alex taking 'cool dude' photos of me.
Picnickers
Girls playing so nicely together
Ring a rosie
Following each-other around the toys.

The above photo is of my 2 monkeys. Chris has climbed to the top, and Sophie can be seen dangling at the bottom of photo!

Isaiah Facts # 5 months.

Well im actually 5.5 months now, but my mum has been terribly lazy lately with her blogging.
Whats been happening in my little world.

I now weight: 6.83kg
I'm still not the best feeder. I really don't like feeding out in public when there is much more to see. And i sometimes i just am plain stubborn at home, and refuse to feed. The other day i went 14 hours without a feed! it stressed mum out a little, but i was still happy all day! mum tried me with a bottle, but i have absolutely no idea how to use it - oh well.
I have started solids, i have breakfast + dinner. I love it SO much! Mum cant get it in my mouth fast enough.
I stopped sleeping through the night - because of my terrible feeding. but since ive been introduced to solids i sometimes sleep from 7pm-6am with a 2/3am wake.
I love my big sister - always have a ready smile for her! even if she does lay on me, or try to roll me over to play.
I now ' crawl'. Its very  funny to watch. I stretch the top half of my body all the way up, Then push my bum in the air till it comes under me, then tuck my head it so i look like a little ball, then spring forward.
Im still a wiggle worm, always on the move - never sitting still while people try to give me cuddles, and when mum gets me from  my bed in the morning i am all over the place.

Below 3 photos are of my 'crawl'

 Always a happy little man
 fast asleep at the park

Fontys Pool Long Weeked.

Friday we headed down to Fonty's Pool, Manjimup for a weekend away with friends.
There were a total of 4 cheeky monkeys, and 10 adults.
2 tents, 4 swags and a camper trailer
a whole lot of white cars
and a barrel of laughs.

Sunrise
We enjoyed saturday by either swimming in Fonty's Pool. While some headed out to the Trout Farm, but couldnt fish so enjoyed the local brewery instead.
That night we headed in for dinner at the Manjimup Motel. Yummiest Food and good company made for a great night out.
Then a bit of relaxation at night time, with loudish games of billionaire and other card games.
Cuddles for 'cole' (Nicole)
Isaiah was not the happiest feeder all weekend, refusing a lot of feeds, yet he still rewarded us
with smiles and was happy enough.
Sunday after a lazy morning we all packed into the cars and followed Ben, as we looked for a location for our church service.
After completing figure 8's in gravel patches, a bit of easy fwdriving (well the navara almost got bogged)
we found a 'lovely' spot to park out cars and put a sermon on the stereo.
We sat and listened, and got bombared by march flies.
We then took off in search for a place less accompanied by march flies.
That was hard to do, so we settled for being tough and eating amongst the flies.
The 4 cheeky monkeys

Little bit worried about the sheep.

Sophie could not get enough cuddles with Nicole.

The monkeys all enjoyed an icecream from Ben, then had a 'bath' to clean off .
well they were clean for all of 2 min!

The Toad that shared the underneath of B + A's tent.

Sophie loved having other children to play with 24/7.
and we definitely had a lovely time too, and are looking forward to doing it again another time.

we're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

a couple of saturdays ago, after chris had finished working in the morning. we both decided that it was a 'get out of the house' kind of day. And as a spur of the moment thing we decided to spend the afternoon at the zoo.
We packed a lunch and headed off.
What a glorious day it turned out to be. Beautiful 25 degree day, and all the animals were out! Sophie loved every part of it, and Isaiah was happy to just watch from the pram.

 watching the 'meows'

sophie loved! the monkeys. we spent ages watching them.

getting excited because the elephant was eating.

Isaiah Facts#16 weeks

I am now 4 months old!
We popped into the health nurse this morning, so I could be weighed. I am 6.35 kg.
Mummy (+ a.keira) measured me. And i am 62 cm long!
I'm very proud of myself because i have learnt to roll over from back to tummy. my big sister thinks that its hilarious, and she sometimes tries to help me roll over and i get a little crabby at her!I have been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Mummy gets a little annoyed because when i am supposed to be laying nicely in my bed ready for a sleep i often roll over and then end up spewing up my full belly. I think its fun though!
I am growing up so fast.
I can now grab my toys and bring them to my my mouth.
I LOVE my toes. (they are often found in my mouth)
I reward everybody with lots of giggles.
I love being 'frightened' during a game of peekaboo.
I still sleep through the night.
I am still in size 000 clothes, but might be going to 00 soon, as i am a bit long for some onesies!
